Find Your Unique Purpose In Life
Practical tools to help you live out your God-given destiny
When I was in college I was sure that I was going to be a single missionary living in Africa, but instead I ended up married, living in California and writing screenplays on the side while working office jobs. Life didn’t happen the way I planned, and I spent years trying to understand why I’m here and what I’m supposed to be doing.
The problem is with all of the expectations from culture, family of origin and the culture at large it’s easy to lose yourself and slip into living on auto-pilot.
You may feel stuck and even a bit guilty that you haven’t figured it all out yet. The truth is, you are unique and wonderful and were made for more than to just drift through life.
Life is short. Live yours with purpose.
Christians want to live purposeful lives, but it can be tough to figure out what that purpose is. I’ve created courses that bring clarity to the process so you can walk out your destiny with joy and peace.
Our lives are busy. But how much of that busy-ness is purposeful? Is all that activity actually leading to or fulfilling the purpose God created you for?
Questions like these can leave you feeling confused, frustrated and—let’s admit it—a bit guilty. You don’t want to waste the time you have on this earth, but destiny feels like a big, intimidating word. It’s hard to know where to start.
I hear you, and I can help. I’m Heath Davis Havlick, founder of Dearly Beloved Personal Discovery Programs. I spent decades trying to figure out who I wanted to be when I grew up. But I've learned a lot along the way, gained clarity and am now walking in my purpose. As a teacher, speaker and writer, I share what I’ve learned in my 15+ years of study on the topics of human behavior, personality and purpose.
My Enneagram-based programs teach you foundational truths that are essential for your journey of discovery, including:
- The critical difference between your soul and your spirit
- Why we don’t really believe we are God’s beloved
- The fact that to know God, you must know yourself
- Why destiny isn’t set in stone – and how you can raise your destiny “horizon”
The human brain is drawn toward clarity and away from confusion. Don’t let confusion keep you from embarking on your own destiny journey – after all, it’s your birthright! Leave frustration behind and get the knowledge and practical tools you need to live a purposeful life of destiny.
I wanted to weep for all the years of not understanding who I am. It was a complete release to understand for the first time that nothing was wrong with me – and that there was a way out.”
Honestly, all that Heath taught was new and very valuable information. The most helpful part was believing and receiving that I am God’s beloved.”

Before we get into a specific Enneagram Type, I want to make a clarification. My long-time friend Greg R. asked me some great questions about my last post that helped me see how some of what I said either could be misconstrued or was not fully thought out, so I…Read More >>

In my last post, I wrote about the three Centers of Intelligence, or ways of processing the world. Wendy Appel, in her book InsideOut Enneagram, expands on that idea: “Robert Cooper, of Stanford Business School, points out that we have three brains – one in our head, one in the…Read More >>
